Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the BMBF8 and BMBF8 Analytics apps (together, "the Apps"), which are personal, proof-of-concept applications created and maintained by Michael Vescovo. By using the Apps, you agree to these terms.

The Apps are built to explore Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. Account creation is required to use most features.

Demo / Educational Nature — Important

BMBF8 simulates a banking-style experience — accounts, balances, payments, and transactions — for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a real banking application. In particular:

• The Apps do not connect to any real bank, financial institution, or payment network.
• The Apps do not store, transfer, or manage real money.
• All accounts, balances, and transactions shown in the Apps are entirely fictitious.
• The Apps do not provide financial, investment, or banking advice.

You should not rely on the Apps for any real-world financial decision. Any resemblance to real banking products or services is for illustrative purposes only.

Use of the Apps

You agree to use the Apps only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Apps or their infrastructure
• Use the Apps to transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Apps or their backend systems
• Use the Apps to imitate real financial activity or mislead others into believing the Apps represent real financial services

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the Apps. See the Privacy Policy for detailed steps.

Intellectual Property

All content in the Apps — including design, code, and visual assets — is my own unless stated otherwise. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of it without my permission. The "BMBF8" name and branding are used solely for the purposes of these proof-of-concept Apps.

Disclaimer

The Apps are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. As personal hobby projects, I make no guarantees about uptime, availability, accuracy of simulated data, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Apps, including any decision made in reliance on the simulated financial data they display.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Apps after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
